Oh Yeon Joon (오연준)

Updated: Nov 13, 2023

One of our favourites by Oh Yeon Joon is "I Will Be There" by Giuditta Scorcelletti and Michael Hoppé.

Nicknamed "Jeju Boy", Oh Yeon Joon first came to the public's attention by performing "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas on Mnet TV's show, We Kid. Despite suffering from vocal cord nodules at the time, the then 9 year old's singing moved the judges to tears. It is not rare to find a child that sing well. However, a child should sound like a child and not like an adult. Oh Yeon Joon’s voice had the element of purity and his calm and unhurried singing certainly is unique among treble of his age. He is going through voice change now and we look forward to his new voice in the near future.

His voice led him to perform for dignitaries and was a popular performer in national events. He returned to a grand stage to perform the Olympic Anthem at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics' closing ceremony where he serenaded the audience with his beautiful voice.

Please listen to his music and let him brighten your day!
