Feng E

"There might not even be another person on the planet, out of 7 billion people, that can do that on the ukulele!" - Producer David Foster

Feng E, a musical prodigy from Taipei, began his musical journey with the piano at age four. However, a kindergarten teacher noticed his delayed fine motor skills when he is five. It led him to explore the ukulele, initially learning with his father before advancing under the tutelage of respected instructors Chen You-Ting and Annier. His undeniable gift also led to his selection for Steve Vai's masterclass, despite struggles to keep pace in school music lessons. Feng E has impressively dominated ukulele competitions and performed worldwide, leaving his mark in locations such as Singapore, Malaysia, the U.S., Japan, China, Hawaii, and the UK.

On November 10, 2017, his performance of an original ukulele piece on "Asia's Got Talent" earned him a golden buzzer from David Foster, guaranteeing his progression to the semi-finals. He further secured his place in the show's finals with a creative cover of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida," becoming the first contestant from Taiwan to achieve this milestone and the only one to be fast-tracked twice in the same season. Feng E's rendition of "Classical Gas" in July 2018 went viral, leading to two invitations to "The Ellen Show."

By ten, Feng E had already started composing for films and released his single "8 Plus," featured at the 2018 Pacific Ukulele Festival. He continued to captivate audiences with his debut Christmas EP "Where Are The Socks?" in December 2018, further showcasing his evolving musical prowess and creativity.
