In their first tour in July 2023, the National Symphony Youth Orchestra (NSYO) brought together more than one hundred young musicians under the guidance of Music Director Jun Märkl with the goal of opening up future possibilities for young musicians to explore the international music scene. After rehearsals at the Miaobei Art Center, they showcased their accomplishments in performances at the Miaobei Art Center, Nantou Cultural Center, Taitung Art and Culture Center, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), and National Concert Hall in Taipei. This year, they are back once again to perform in concert halls across Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. The repertoire this year will consist of Gabriela Lena Frank's Concertino Cusqueño, Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto Op.14, Manuel de Falla's Three-Cornered Hat Suite No.2, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio espagnol, Op.34
