Sterre van Boxtel
"Music can also be a solution for the words you cannot find. In that way, connect and communicate through music." - Sterre van Boxtel
Soprano Sterre van Boxtel was admitted to the National Young Talent of the Prestigious Conservatory of Amsterdam as a 13 year old in 2018, and she was specially allowed to join Classical Singing at the Sweelinck Academy despite her young age. Sterre was taught by Sasja Hunnego who, together with Don Marrazzo, recognized Sterre as a special national young talent. Her regular coach is Marta Liébana.
Sterre has participated as a soloist in various (inter)national TV programs and performances and has performed three times as a soloist in the Royal Concertgebouw, where she made her debut at the age of 12. In 2023 she will again be a soloist in the Royal Concertgebouw together with tenor Leonardo Gramegna.
