Sandpaper music?!

We are not trying to be funny but sandpaper as a percussion? Well yes it is!

Voces para la Paz, a non-profit humanitarian aid association, is made up of more than 300 professional musicians from the best orchestras and choirs in Spain. Founded in 1998 by Juan Carlos Arnanz Villalta, they have raised funds from concerts to carry out projects in countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America. As a result, bridges, schools, libraries, health clinics, orphanages, water wells, irrigation systems were built from various collaborations.

The last project collaboration as published from their website was in 2018, the water wells built had benefited more than 4,000 people in Ghana . The volunteer musicians presented extraordinary and interesting works like the above selflessly.

For the sandpaper act, the conductor and percussionists have been outstanding to entertain the audience in such a humorous manner. The orchestra were interactive with the trio as well, creating a fun and cheery atmosphere.

The excellent interpretation brings classical music closer to us. It is a cause for celebration , for the music and the mission.
