O Holy Night

Composed in 1847, Adolphe Adams’s O Holy Night has always been a Christmas carol favorite. Originally written in French, the song was arranged in English by John Sulliven Dwight and it makes frequent appearance in English world ever since.

This Christmas, a very talented chorister from our stars, Malakai M Bayoh, performs O Holy Night with Welsh singer/presenter Aled Jones for British radio station Classic FM’s Christmas Special program.

“A legendary treble voice of the past, meets one of the most gifted young singers of today.” says Classic FM.

12-year-old Bayoh is a member of the Schola Cantorum of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in West London. His singing career had begun as a cathedral chorister at St George's Cathedral Southwark, also in London. He made his Royal Opera House debut this November, he sang the role of Oberto in Handel’s opera Alcina.

Enjoy the clear yet warm voice of Malakai, we wish you a happy holiday season!
