Josafat Raman

Imagine playing the piano with no fingers. For pianist Josafat Raman, this is a daily occurrence. Despite being born with Dysmelia, a disorder that results in malformations of a person's limbs, he nonetheless plays the piano beautifully. His perseverance and dedication to music is dazzling.

In 2019, Raman performed in front of judges as a contestant on the German show, Das Supertalent (Germany's Got Talent), bringing tears to their eyes. In early 2023, he went viral on TikTok for playing Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi’s 'Experience". While Raman typically covers musical scores from films, pop songs, or renowned composers on his social media, he also composes his own music.

We hope Raman's dream of becoming a music teacher comes true and he can share his love of music with even more people.
