Himari Yoshimura

Born in 2011, Himari Yoshimura is a violin prodigy from Tokyo, Japan. She started playing the violin at the age of three and performed with a professional orchestra at the age of six. Himari has won the Grand Prix at the 15th Lipinski Wieniawski International Violin Competition in 2021, she was the youngest ever contestant to win the Prix. In 2023, she won the "Public Award" at the triennial Montreal International Violin Competition MINI VIOLIN 2023.

Not only does she have exceptional technique, her musical interpretation is undoubtedly beyond her age. Watch this video of Himari confidently holding the stage and playing Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto in D major:
