Mozart’s “eine kleine Nachtmusik” is arguably one of the most recognized classical music pieces, probably even for people who don’t know much about classical music. It has been played so many times at various and versatile occasion that perhaps we are all a little bit tired of it.
But don’t worry, talented musicians are always capable of making old pieces feel new and interesting again. The Polish ensemble, MozART Group, rearrange “eine kleine Nachtmusik” and had make it into a small journey around the world. The ensemble blends basic yet unique musical and performing elements from four world cultures, American, Alpen Yodeling, Jewish and Spanish, into the piece. From another aspect, it’s also surprising to learn that this 250 years old Mozart music can be so adaptable. We hope you enjoy this light yet very creative performance!
MozArt Group are four well-educated classical musicians who wants to “treat our Muse with a humorous irony” as they perform “despite the sober formality of great concert halls, despite the boredom of classical musicians' life, despite fanatic lovers of classical music, despite fans of rock, rap or pop who are afraid of classical music.” They started in 1995, and keep on amusing music lovers around the world persistently.
