Brandon Goldberg

Have a moment to relax with the 9 years old (at the time) Brandon Goldberg as he plays a rendition of "Fly Me To The Moon" alongside Jamaican Jazz pianist Monty Alexander. The cheerful rendition and enjoyment on their faces while playing will leave you smiling! The young pianist has been playing since he was 3 years old, inspired by listening to artists like Herbie Hancock, and Bill Evans.

A recipient of the ASCAP 2022 Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award and a four-time winner of Downbeat Student Music Awards in both the Jazz Soloist and Original Composition Category, Brandon has played at many jazz festivals and clubs including the Newport and Litchfield jazz festivals, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, Dizzy’s Club, and the Birdland Theatre. He has also participated at classical piano festivals like the Miami International Piano Festival.

Also an accomplished composer, Brandon Goldberg was commissioned by The Miami Symphony Orchestra to write two original compositions for the symphony for piano and orchestra, “Surroundings” and “Rhapsody in F” in 2018 and 2019
