Joakim Røbergshagen is a young violinist who currently lives in Løten. Born in 2000, he grew up in Trondheim and has been playing the violin since he was 7 years old. He started playing in concerts at an early age, and made his debut with the Agder Symphony Orchestra in 2011. Since then has been a soloist with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Trondheimsoloistene (Trondheim Soloists) and several other amateur and festival orchestras.

About
From 2016 to 2021, Joakim was part of the international academy "Konstknekt". He completed the Bachelor of Music Performance program at the Barratt Due Institute of Music, studied at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), and has apprenticed with Bård Monsen, Stephan Barratt-Due, Walter Küssner, and Luiz Coelho.
Joakim has played at many chamber music festivals both at home and abroad, including Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Trondheim Chamber Music Festival, Stavanger Chamber Music Festival, Winter Festival in Røros, Rosendal Chamber Music Festival, Landsberg Chamber Music Festival, Bettola Chamber Music Festival, Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca, and the Blackbox Festival in Berlin.
He plays a Niccolo Gagliano (1780) on loan from Storebrand, and is currently the concertmaster of Ringsaker Opera Orchestra and Hedemarken Symphony Orchestra as well as the primarius of the Inland Quartet.
