La Maîtrise des Chartreux, also known as the Lyon Boys Choir offers young boys a unique school and musical experience which help them to discover choral singing. Composed exclusively of boys and young men, they undergo daily musical and vocal training. Spiritual and human education are the focal points taught to boys.

Group Life, Respect for Others and Rules, Autonomy. These are all important elements in helping young boys to become young men who are open to the world, adaptable and endowed with an important musical culture. Rehearsals, concerts, national and international tours, religious ceremonies and workshops occupy the lives of these boys.
Robert Hillebrand - former choirmaster of the Tölzer Knabenchor, the Petits Chanteurs de Lyon and the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale de Rennes - directs the choir with his experience and the pedagogy used by some of the most renowned choirs of the world.
The choir has a wide repertoire, from the Gregorian to the present day. Some notable pieces they have performed include:
